*** LIDC ANNUAL CONGRESS 2024  ***

London, 7-9 November 2024

We are delighted that the programme has been confirmed for this year’s European Annnual LIDC Congress 2024 which the CLA is hosting in London Thursday 7 to Saturday 9 November.

Please take a look at the programme, which shows the range of topical sessions and some of our confirmed speakers from the courts, tribunals, authorities and private practice in the UK and EU.

The panellists and speakers will variously share their competition law, intellectual property law and economic expertise on the theme of:

New Legal Order: Coherent antitrust, IP and data regulation in a divergent world”

The congress will start on Thursday afternoon with registration for delegates and welcome drinks in the evening.

On Friday, the Congress will take place in the beautiful surroundings of the Lincoln's Inn Conference Centre, with a cocktail reception and formal dinner in the Lincoln's Inn Great Hall. The panel sessions, some of which run in parallel, are carefully designed to provide a full programme throughout the day relevant to all practitioners covering issues, topical to competition law, intellectual property law and data, together with the increasing interplay between them.

On Saturday, the discussion continues with the LIDC Plenary Sessions, which consider the competition law and intellectual property papers prepared by the international rapporteurs.  The Congress concludes with lunch and an optional guided tour of the Sir John Soanes Museum.

There are now limited spaces available. To register, please visit the LIDC Congress website.  Registration Closes Friday 25 October.
